About Our Team

We are The HomeCenter Team of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Intown. We specialize in short sales in Atlanta and all of the surrounding cities around North Georgia. We have a team of short sale negotiators, listing specialists, buyers agents, and admin assistants who work together to make the entire system work. When you hire us, you hire the entire team.  With our systems we’ve put in place to handle a high volume of short sales throughout North Georgia, we can provide you with solid results.

LEADERSHIP:

Mike Haralson / Co-Team Leader

After 10 years in commercial real estate acquisition in the corporate real estate arena, Mike got his real estate license in 1999 and was named Rookie of the Year while with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Atlanta, GA in 2000. Shortly after, Mike moved to Re/Max Greater Atlanta where he was named in top 10% of realtors in the Atlanta area for several consecutive years by Atlanta Magazine.  He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club. Mike plays a crucial role in the everyday operations of the team by managing and tracking the progress of each of the deals with our negotiators, listing agents, and buyer agents.

Shane Lee / Co-Team Leader

When the telecom industry suffered in the late 90’s, Shane left the field to venture into real estate, first obtaining a real estate appraisers license, then mortgage brokers license in FL during the rise of the housing bubble. Throughout this very busy time in the market, Shane also bought, renovated, and sold properties as a real estate investor. Shane is owner of multiple nationwide real estate networks, in addition to leading the HomeCenter Team along side Mike Haralson locally. With his background in technologies and internet marketing, Shane stays up to date on and implements the systems that drive the teams business as well as maintaining the marketing and getting maximum exposure for all listings.

Mellanda Reese / Manager of Short Sale Negotiations

Mellanda heads up the short sale department and is responsible for managing our team of negotiators. Mellanda has been a short sale agent for years, long before short sales were even called short sales. Mellanda keeps track of 75-150 or more short sale files at any given time making sure our administrative staff are on top of each file.
